Pengios 1.1

In the engaging puzzle game Pengios, players take on the role of a penguin navigating through a series of icy challenges using a four-position joystick and a single action button. The primary mechanic involves pushing ice blocks across the screen: pressing the button while guiding the joystick towards an ice block will slide it in that direction until it encounters another block or a wall. Should an ice block be obstructed, pressing the button will result in crushing it, adding a layer of strategy to the gameplay.

The main objective of each level is to eliminate all SnowBees using three distinct methods:

1. Sliding ice blocks to crush the SnowBees.
2. Crushing blocks that contain eggs, known as Blinking blocks.
3. Running over stunned SnowBees after forcing them against a wall.

At the beginning of each level, certain blocks flash to indicate they contain eggs. As players destroy the active SnowBees, new ones emerge from these eggs to take their place. Notably, SnowBees are capable of breaking blocks in an effort to reach Pengo. Additionally, if pushed against a wall, Pengo causes any SnowBee in contact to become temporarily stunned.

Each round features three special blocks marked with diamonds that cannot be crushed. Successfully arranging these diamond-marked blocks in a continuous horizontal or vertical line offers bonus points and exhausts all active SnowBees for a brief period.

The game presents a total of 16 levels, providing ample challenge and engagement for players seeking to refine their strategic skills.
